I moved to the WashingtonDC area in 1961.  I worked in private industry for a year or so before going to work for the federal government.  I worked for several different agencies during my IT (information technology) career and retired from FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) in June, 1996.  I married a WV (Charleston) girl in1964 and we have 3 sons.  We lived in Warrenton, VA for 29 years and I commuted to work in DC.  After retirement, we built a house and moved to Madison, VA.  We are enjoying retirement and spend lots of time sitting on the porch looking at our view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We West Virginians love our mountains.

Hobbies – GOLF   We have 3 sons who are great golfers.  We have a super foursome.  2nd love – Wild Turkey hunting, have a summer home in Pocahontas County where Carol Lyn and I spent quality time and I do a lot of hunting and golf, often at Snowshoe.  6 grandchildren – 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
