After graduation I left here for the big city of Chicago for 5 years. Then I moved back to West Virginia where I met my husband of 39 years. We made our home in Ghent near Flat top where I still reside after the passing of my husband 4 years ago. I worked for the West Virginia Turnpike Authority for 23 years before retiring in 2004. I enjoy my retirement by traveling and spending time with friends and family.

While in the Air Force I was stationed with Ken Conner in Kansas before we both shipped out.  He had married Connie Blanchard, both were from Princeton.  Ken went to Vietnam and I went to Turkey and then Libya, North Africa.  There I was stationed with Allen Richards from Princeton. Ken was killed in Nam and Allen lost his life in Columbus, Ohio.  After this I settled in Columbus and worked for Barnebey and Cheney Co. for 8 years.   I did the lab testing for all the charcoal used in filters for the space program.  After this I worked for 26 years for the Kroger Company. I ran different warehouses in distribution.  I retired in 2000.
